When I signed up as a wellness advocate with dõTERRA I had already gone through years of trial and error with my supplements and balancing cost with effectiveness I had it narrowed my regime down to a handful that I knew had some effect. A general multivitamin and mineral, various essential fatty acids, gingko biloba, coQ10, milk thistle, echinacea and some gut health supplements.
I heard such great things about the lifelong vitality pack that I was intrigued. I looked into what it contained and found that the food nutrient complex contained all the vitamins and minerals that I’d already been taking and more, plus a wholefood blend and an enzyme blend. The cellular vitality complex contained all sorts of special stuff that I’d read about but not been able to afford to try especially all combined together, including Boswellia, green tea extract and turmeric, plus a cellular energy blend that included Acetyl-L-Carnitine, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Coenzyme Q10, Quercetin and Gingko Biloba. The essential oil omega complex just seemed to round off the trio nicely. Because of my energy issues it was suggested that I add to the pack the Mito-2-max supplement (which can be added to the pack at a reduced cost). It contains more Acetyl-L-Carnitine, Alpha Lipoic Acid and Coenzyme Q10, plus a circulation support blend and an adaptogenic blend (all ingredients that I’d heard about as potentially useful).
Although they were gong to cost a little more than what I was already spending, in order to get commissions as a wellness advocate you need to spend at least 100PV a month and this pack would help me reach that. Buying it regularly, I’d also earn back points to spend on other products.
To really find out whether they could help me I decided to cut out all of my other supplements except my high dose of Vitamin C and see what would happened. I was very happy with the results:
I found myself feeling a sense of lightness and freeness in my body that I hadn’t felt for a very long time and a slight increase in my general energy levels. However, I did find that they didn’t fit all my needs. The levels of essential fatty acids were only about half of what I’d been taking and I did notice that my sleep started to suffer and wasn’t as restful as it had been. I also found that my word finding was going downhill again and my gut symptoms were getting worse. (I’d stopped the gut health support supplements that I was taking).
I decided to add back about half of the essential fatty acid supplements that I’d been taking before, and my gingko biloba supplement which contained about 10 times the amount in the LLV pack. I also started taking my gut supplements again and bingo: my sleep settled again, my gut settled again and my word finding improved again. I wasn’t surprised that I needed a few extras on top of a general supplement that’s designed for everyone!
With balance restored I was able to notice just how much my energy had improved. Even though I haven’t enrolled too many people to dõTERRA so far and there is no reason for me to be aiming to spend so many points to earn commissions, there will be no turning back for me. I know that these supplements support me better than anything I’ve tried before, even if I did have to top them up a bit!

Warning: Many people with illnesses like ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, Lyme disease and adrenal fatigue can find themselves very sensitive to supplements. If this is the case for you the the LVP might not be the best bet, as each tablet contains such a wide variety of ingredients.
