4-week mini-course for a relaxed, peaceful, simpler life that makes the most of your precious energy
There are so many aspects of chronic illness that are hard to accept. Limited energy is jsut one of them. We can resist adapting to a different way of living because we don’t want to let go of what we had before we became ill. We can resist grieving what we’ve lost. We can resist having a bad day, needing to rest, not being able to think clearly. But any resistance is a waste of our precious energy. One significant consequence of non-acceptance is how we can push ourselves into a boom-bust cycle.
In this course, you’ll learn the difference between acceptance and resignation. You’ll learn how to claim back the energy you lose to resistance and find more peace with what is. You’ll discover the power of acceptance as a healing tool, helping you make the most out of the life you have. Most of all you’ll learn how to accept. With new acceptance skills, life can be so much easier!
This course includes 4 weekly group coaching/ support sessions which take place alternate Tuesday’s and Wednesdays at 4pm UK time (8am pacific, 11am Eastern) plus 4 weekly lessons that each include:
- a short video (5-15 minutes)
- a summary of the topics covered in the video
- journaling suggestions to help you develop the skills
- a short wellbeing practice to make improving learning to accept, easy
