An alternate reality collective wisdom on how to be more successful at taking the steps that will bring you joyful wellness
A few weeks ago, I ran a 5 day masterclass in my Facebook group called Boost your Belief, Maximise your Motivation. Part of the masterclass involved connecting in with an alternate-reality version of yourself who has already reached a level of joyful wellness that you’d like to create and seeking their advice on various aspect of their journey.
In this post, Chat GPT and I have melded all the advice that came through from several peoples alternate-reality selves on the topic of successfully taking action steps and rewritten it as a simple guide:
1. Start Simply
Begin where you are. Make it easy to get started. Add just one thing at a time.
2. Follow Your Joy
From all the possibilities, choose the actions that make you happiest. Let joy lead you.
3. Embrace Fun Over Perfection
Let go of striving. Take your activities less seriously and celebrate your efforts — even when they’re messy.
4. Be Present and connected
Find joy in th present moment. Use sensory check-ins to ground yourself. Spend time in nature. Grounding yourself helps strengthen your connection to inner wisdom.
5. Move Lightly
Work in short, relaxed bursts. Effortlessness carries you further than pushing ever could.
6. Trust the Process
Gratitude opens the door to abundance. Trust that your conscious choices are already leading you to greater joy.
7. Slow Down and Listen
Shift from Doing to Being. Focus on Awareness and Acceptance. Tune into your intuitive, nurturing energy.
8. Seek Good Feelings
Living joyfully well feels satisfying, safe, and deeply fulfilling. Let yourself feel cocooned in that goodness.
9. Celebrate Small Steps
Patience is powerful. Small steps are enough. You don’t have to do everything at once.
10. Open to the Flow of Wellness
You are an energetic being. Let go of resistance and allow wellness to flow through you at any moment.
11. Be Kind to Yourself
Relax. Trust your body’s wisdom to guide you moment by moment — no pushing needed.
12. Love Yourself Unconditionally
You are perfect as you are. Presence, self-love, and trust will always show you the way.
13. Release Self-Judgment
Freedom comes when you stop making yourself wrong. You are enough — exactly as you are.
14. Keep Re-centering
With each part of your day, pause and remind yourself: ‘I open to the flow of wellness and trust that all will be work out for my highest good’
